At Refractory Service, Inc., we work across many different industries across the United States. We're experienced with meeting the needs of ethanol plants in the Midwest and Corn Belt as well food and wood processing plants wherever they may be. We work with equipment manufacturers to supply and service new equipment and boilers and work with end customers on repairs and rebuilds.

At RSI, we have the knowledge and qualifications to manage complete turnkey installations for Thermal Oxidizers (TO) and Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers (RTO) for fuel-efficient operations.

We offer lining repair and are highly experienced with media bed replacements and changeouts. We understand the unique properties of ceramic media beds, built to absorb the heat from the RTO and recycle the heat through the media. We can help you maximize the life and efficiency of your media beds.

RSI representatives are also skilled with preventative maintenance and hotspot identification and mitigation. We have a unique understanding of how all of the components of an RTO/TO work together. Solving a problem in one aspect can lead to problems in others. We understand that there is a delicate balance going on inside pollution control equipment and have developed a science-based approached to maximize performance and life expectancy. We have embraced state-of-the-art refractories, coatings and installation techniques that are taking performance to new levels, so your equipment runs safely at optimal efficiency. We recognize that unscheduled down-time is lost revenue. We will work with you to schedule maintenance that will minimize downtime, helping you avoid a complete shutdown whenever possible.
